Here is a unique way to describe your business and make it visually interesting (and it’s free)! Wordle is an online application for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Here are some we prepared earlier… can you guess who we’re talking about?

The images you create with Wordle are yours to use in any way you choose and are a great way to create business cards, letterhead backings, flyers, brochures and even T-Shirts!

Free Wordle Download Link Wordle

There’s a “Print…” button below the Wordle area, on the left-hand side. Press it. You will be prompted to allow the Wordle “Java applet” to access your printer. Please check the checkbox that says “Always permit”, and accept the dialog.

On the Mac, you’ll have to press the “Print…” button again.

Mac users can simply “Save as PDF” from their built-in printer dialog.

Windows users will need to use third-party software to generate a PDF from the print dialog. Adobe Acrobat is fine, but if you don’t have it then use the free CutePDF Writer (you’ll also need to install Ghostscript, a free PostScript interpreter).

Here’s an interesting link that might save you some costs in the use of your office toner supply!

Ecofont has been designed to save printer ink using a very obvious observation which centers around the idea that a font with less visible areas requires less ink. Ecofont therefore is a font with holes. These holes can save up to 20% of the usual amount of ink needed to print pages with a normal font.

Note though, that this font should not be used to print out important papers. Ecofont is offered as a free download at the creator’s website.
